The Railway Children

Fresh from their 2025 tour of The Wind in the Willows (“Fun, funny and utterly charming”) and The Wizard of Oz (“”Utterly entracing. A great mix of charm and sophisticated wit” ) the amazing Paperback Theatre return to Oundle with a brand new adaptation of E. Nesbit’s much-loved children’s classic, The Railway Children by Charis McRoberts.

As last year, the play will be performed outdoors, so please bring a picnic if you like and enjoy the show.

Please Note
Tickets may NOT be available on the gate, so please book in advance to help us plan the event accordingly.
The performance is expected to start at 6pm and last approximately 80 minutes, plus a short interval.
We hope that there will be both an ice-cream van and a coffee/cake van on site during the performance.

The Common Room Garden can be accessed either via Milton Road, or West Street (from the passage way next to Oxfam).
Sorry – no dogs allowed (other than registered guide dogs).
