CO Newsletter April 2024

Dear Creative Oundle friend,

Welcome to our April Newsletter reminding you of the variety of exciting events we have scheduled this Spring and Summer.

Take a look at our exciting new website:

https://www.creativeoundle.co.uk – filled with really useful information and updated regularly.

Why not come along to Cinema Paradiso this Friday, the 26th April.
A filmmaker recalls his childhood when falling in love with the pictures at the cinema of his home village and forms a deep friendship with the cinema’s projectionist. Cinema Paradiso has been cited as one of the greatest films of all time. The ending is considered among the greatest endings in movie history!
As always,  the film begins at 7.30pm with a short interval  before the main event, and the bar opens both at 7pm and also during an interval mid way through the programme! Come along and make an evening of it with friends.
Book here or turn up on the night and buy a ticket.

HandleBards are cycling into town to perform ‘The Comedy of Errors’ at Barnwell Country Park on Wednesday 29th May at 7pm.
When two sets of estranged twins are brought together on the same island, this classic comedy takes hold, with mistaken identity, music and manic costume changes a plenty. This is an outdoor production, so please bring a chair or blanket to sit on, a picnic to dig into, and dress for the weather!

We invite you to join us for a very special day out at Open Gardens taking place on Sunday 9th June 11am until 5pm.
This is a wonderful opportunity to see some of the beautiful gardens of Oundle. Of course, looking round gardens can be thirsty work, so a couple of the gardens are providing refreshments, in addition to the cafes open in the town.

Tickets available at  https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/creative-oundle
