It is with great regret that we must inform you of the death of Sir Ewan Harper. He was a Trustee for many years of Creative Oundle’s predecessor ‘Oundle Music Trust’ and with his business background helped steer the Charity through some difficult times.
He was a keen supporter of young musicians and gave bursaries to students at the Oundle for Organists Summer School. He also supported music students to perform at our Lunchtime Concerts giving them the experience of performing in front of new audiences.
In his home village of Titchmarsh, he was an active fundraiser for St Mary the Virgin Church by opening his beautiful garden annually to raise money. He also contributed to the restoration of the Church’s historic TC Lewis organ which is now used by the students at the OfO summer School and for recitals.
His funeral is on Thursday August 6th, 2026, at 2pm at St Mary the Virgin Church, Titchmarsh, Kettering NN14 3DB
