The legendary Merchant Ivory film making partnership created some of the most popular, and influential, films of our times including The Remains Of The Day, Howard’s End, Maurice, and A Room With A View. At the same time it made stars of Hugh Grant, Helena Bonham Carter, Rupert Graves, Emma Thompson, Daniel Day-Lewis and more.

This overview of their extraordinary contribution to world cinema includes footage from more than fifty interviews, clips from the films, archival material and views from unheralded technicians as well as the familiar stars.
