The Wizard of Oz – Paperback Theatre

We are delighted to bring to Oundle the amazing Paperback Theatre company who will perform two plays specifically aimed at a family audience. Both plays will be performed outdoors, so please bring a picnic if you like and enjoy the show.

The second of the two plays is an adaptation of the much-loved classic – The Wizard of Oz

“I’m not Dorothy, I’m Dot. Like a decimal point. A full stop. Dot.” 

Dot just wants everyone to shut up and leave her alone. Sick of her annoying new foster family she longs to be somewhere else, somewhere far away, somewhere over the rainbow.

Paperback Theatre’s new adaptation of The Wizard of Oz brings the classic well-loved story bang-up-to-date. Whether it’s brains, heart or courage you want, this action-packed adventure has got you covered. So strap into your ruby slippers for a saunter down the yellow brick road.

Please Note
Tickets may NOT be available on the gate, so please book in advance to help us plan the event accordingly.
The performance is expected to start at 6pm and last approximately 75minutes, plus a short interval. There will be both an ice-cream van and a coffee/cake van on site during the performance.

The Common Room Garden can be accessed either via Milton Road, or West Street (from the passage way next to Oxfam).
