SUMMARY:Handlebards - Macbeth
DESCRIPTION:Join the troupe at the Common Room Garden\, Oundle for a hilariously high-octane production of Shakespeare’s Macbeth like you’ve never seen before. Forget the tears and tragedy\, this Macbeth is chock full of mishaps\, mayhem and mirth. \nWe all know the story. Three Witches promise Macbeth the Scottish crown and like any normal people would\, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth plot to kill the king. Things get rapidly out of hand from there as foul deeds are done\, plots unravel and mysterious spirits appear… \nSuitable for all ages and apparitions. \nThe HandleBards are an intrepid three-strong troupe spending the summer touring Macbeth by electric van\, bringing environmentally sustainable Shakespeare to venues across the UK. \nPraise for previous HandleBards performances…\n★★★★★ – “Explodes with energy and is a genuine treat from start to finish.” – The Stage\n★★★★★ – “Five stars just don’t seem enough…” – The Sunderland Echo \nPlease Note – As with previous HandleBard performances\, this will be an outdoor performance in the Common Room Garden. Please access the garden via the lane which runs next to the garden from Milton Road (to the right of the Common Road) to West Street (to the left of the Oxfam shop). The audience is invited to bring a picnic together with rugs and folding chairs. \nThe performance will start at 7pm. The audience area will be open to ticket holders from 6.00pm. \nSorry\, no dogs (other than registered Guide Dogs) allowed
